We're really really close to being done the demo at this point. Basically we are, just a few annoying bits and pieces left to come out. Hopefully this week we'll have the stairs figured out. They're the only thing we're planning on getting a contractor to do, for time and perhaps safety reasons and because they're a bit complex in this house. It's been difficult to find one, but our fingers are crossed to have an answer by this weekend.
Other than making my parents work on the house, we went out for a few good meals (Thanks!!) and wandered about St. Andrews during the New Brunswick Day festivities. As always, I ended up with a an ice-cream cone and watched the town go by during my break from work. We also crossed to Minister's Island during low tide and did some off-roading onthe old hiking trails. Good times all around.
Now it's back to work and probably a few days of field work in the northern part of the province while Moira slaves away down here. I'm eager to get right into the next stage of the project and to put any other unsuspecting visitors to work.
