It's been a weekend full of carpentry. We've finally settled on (almost) all the layout plans both upstairs and down. It's quite a relief to know what to put where. The bathroom downstairs is fully framed in as a half-bath and laundry. Upstairs will be the main, with a tiled in shower/tub. Those that have been there will be surprised it will all fit, but it really does.
Moira was the Reno-Queen today, she became a skilled user of the table saw, circular saw and the mighty nail gun. I have a feeling that, like the sledge hammer, it will be hard for me to get my hands on those tools now. She did a great job of closing up the large area of missing floor in the kitchen. It will take longer to get to the basement now that we can't simply jump down, but the shortcut was only fun when it was intentional.
Hoping to finish the bedroom walls this week after work and looking forward to getting some sort of heating system in. It isn't bad at all yet, but we all know the cold can sneak up on you in October.
